FAQ

1. When will my order ship?

Most frames are delivered via Ground Shipping within 2-3 weeks.

2. What shipping method do you use?

We use UPS or FedEx for most shipping destinations. United States Postal Service is used for many international destinations.

3. Once my frame has shipped, will I receive notification?

Once your frame leaves our facility you will receive an email from FedEx that will provide you with the tracking information for your package. We also recommend checking your spam folder since it's an automated message. You can also check the status of your order on our website by Clicking Here.

4. Do you offer international shipping? If so, how much?

Yes! We do offer the ability to ship International via USPS. Additional shipping charges will apply; the cost typically starts around $60, depending on the exact location and frames specifics. Please email the frame details (Moulding, School, Diploma Size, etc.) and the shipping address to info@universityframes.com. Once we have this information, we will be happy to provide you with a quote.

5. Do I need to send my diploma?

No, it is not necessary to send your prized diploma, certificate or any valuable item you wish to preserve. The frame comes with instructions on how to easily insert your diploma or certificate. Click here for additional tips on framing your diploma.

6. Are all diplomas standard size? What if I don’t know my diploma size?

Diploma sizes vary depending on a multitude of factors such as year of graduation, type of degree (law and medical degrees are often different sizes). If you have not yet received your diploma or you are buying the frame as a gift, you can contact the school's Registrar's Office directly to obtain this information.

7. Can I order a frame with a plain mat?

Absolutely! There is a $30 discount plus free shipping on all frames that are not imprinted. This option is available on our home page or by clicking here.

8. Can I order a Matboard only?

Unfortunately, due to licensing contracts, there are restrictions on selling single components of the frame, therefore we are unable to sell the matboard only.

9. Can I purchase glass only?

We do offer a high-quality Plexiglas that looks exactly like glass but is much more durable and can be shipped. We do not recommend shipping standard glass alone due to its fragility. The cost of our Plexiglas varies; please contact our Online Services Team directly at info@universityframes.com for pricing as this option is not available online.

10. What type of wood do you use?

We use high-quality hardwood that's known for its straight grain and strength properties. The moulding is stained and then lacquered with a gloss. Some mouldings are lacquered more heavily to obtain a higher gloss than others, this is depending on the desired style.

11. When is the next time University Frames is offering a discount and how much will it be?

Please be sure to check our website periodically to view what promotion codes we have available at the time of purchase. To stay updated with our most current offers, follow us on Social Media.

12. Why does my order take 2-3 weeks to be delivered?

The standard lead time for our diploma frames can take 2-3 weeks from start to finish. Our custom frames are handcrafted by our frame experts at our Anaheim, CA facility. Due to the customization options available, most frames are made to order once your order has been submitted.

13. My school has updated their name and/or seal, but it's not updated on your website. How can I order my frame using my schools current name?

If your school has recently changed its official name and/or seal, please email our Online Services team at info@universityframes.com, and in most cases we can update the school name on our website.

14. How can you match a frame that was ordered previously?

Depending on when your order was placed, we can look up your frame details by your order number. If you do not have this, please email our Online Services Team a photo of your frame to info@universityframes.com and we can provide you with the correct frame details.
